Woody Biomass Supply Chains conference will be held on October 6, 2011 at the Johnston County Center, 2736 NC 210 Hwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.
The conference is associated with the Mid-Atlantic Logging & Biomass Expo and a VIP Tour of the Expo has also been planned for October 7, 2011. The conference program has been developed through a partnership with NC State University Extension Forestry and the NC Association of Professionals Loggers. The conference has two central purposes: educating non-forestry professionals about the science and viability of energy from wood; and bringing together energy entrepreneurs/investors and forest products industry professionals in an environment that is conducive to collaboration.
