Triangle J Council of Governments is a voluntary organization of municipal and county governments in North Carolina's Region J?. Region J includes the following North Carolina counties: Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Moore, Orange and Wake counties. It is one of 17 regional councils established in 1972 by the General Assembly to aid, assist, and improve the capabilities of local governments in administration, planning, fiscal management, and development.
