Cellulosis

Cellulosis is the process of breaking down cellulose into sugars. Cellulose is a naturally occurring complex carbohydrate polymer commonly found in plant cell walls. Cellulosis is an important step in the process of creating cellulosic ethanol, a biofuel produced from wood, grasses, or the non-edible parts of plants.
