BioPreferred? Program

The BioPreferred?^SM program aims to increase the purchase and use of renewable?, environmentally friendly biobased products while providing "green" jobs and new markets for farmers, manufacturers, and vendors. The program is a Federal mandatory purchase program run under the auspices of USDA, and the program is in the process of creating a label for consumer market use.

The BioPreferred? program offers three major benefits:
