American Coalition for Ethanol

The American Coalition for Ethanol or ACE is one of several representative organizations for the U.S. ethanol industry.

It says it is the nation's largest association dedicated to the production and use of ethanol.

ACE is a non-profit, membership-based organization with about 1,500 members including:
  • ethanol producers
  • farmers
  • investors
  • the agriculture community
  • industry suppliers
  • rural electric cooperatives
  • others supportive of ethanol.
The mission statement for ACE says that it was formed in 1988 to bring together a wide range of groups in support of ethanol. ACE is organized to promote and expand the development of the ethanol industry, and has these goals:

  • to reduce America's dependence on foreign oil imports
  • to provide a value-added alternative for our farm products
  • to create public awareness of the uses and benefits of ethanol
  • to dispel fears and erroneous product information
  • to support legislative efforts to promote ethanol usage
  • to help promote and increase the usage of ethanol
