ASTM Committee D02

The more complete name for this committee is the ''ASTM Committee D02 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants''. The committee was formed in 1904. D02 meets twice a year, in June and December. Approximately 700 to 800 members and visitors attend the five days of technical meetings. The committee has a current membership of about 2200 industry professionals and experts and has jurisdiction over 725 standards, published in five volumes of the Annual Book of ASTM Standards?; Volumes 05.01, 05.02, 05.03, 05.04 and 05.05. These standards have, and continue to play, a preeminent role in all aspects relating to the standardization of Petroleum Products and Lubricants.
